Abstract

This 2019 GRC/GRS conference will focus on the role of polyamines and polyamine metabolism in human diseases, especially inflammation and cancers. This will include work related to diseases involving multiple organ systems, including colon, stomach, pancreas, nervous system, various infections, the microbiome, biofilms, and plants. Speakers have been chosen to highlight the most recent discoveries related to the biological roles of polyamines and the important clinical trials investigating polyamine targeting therapies for cancer treatment and prevention.
